New Family Members
These are our new family members, Skittles and Abigail. They are brother and sister tabby cats. I was hoping to get a picture of the two of them together, but so far it's been difficult. The only way I can tell them apart is by their collars. Skittles has a striped collar and Abigail has a rhinestone collar with a heart charm.

Drum Corp International
Drum Corp International is the ultimate experience for anyone that has ever been in Marching Band. These are a few of the photos I took during the Red River Thunder show. I had a blast doing it, but I also went home exhausted. It was about 100 degrees and my pants were sticking to me. They were also slipping down by the weight of all the stuff I had in my pockets
. My camera would try to slip out of my hands because they were so sweaty.

Published Photos
Here are two photos that I've recently had published in the Denton Record Chronicle. I took the photo of the little boy riding his stick horse during the Woodrow Wilson first grade rodeo. The picture of Dori and Armando was taken at the Cinco de Mayo Parade in Denton. Children can be a lot of fun to photograph.

My Love
My Children
Ryan High Band

One of my favorite photography assignments was to chronicle the Ryan High School Band and their activities. To witness and be a part of the enthusiasm and camraderie of the band was an experience I'll never forget. It is why some booster members continue to be a part of the band even after their children graduate.
School
Working within the school district has given me many photo opportunities. I get to see the children involved in special activities and their everyday routines. The little boy sleeping was a kindergartener who fell asleep while waiting on his mother to pick him up from school. It was the last day of the school year.
Sports

Denton is a great place to attend a variety of high school and college sporting events all year long. I love sports photography. It has been a challenge to learn because it can be so fast paced but that is what makes it so exciting.
The first photo is of my husband playing golf at Turtle Hill in Muenster, TX. I told him I wanted to take some photos of him playing golf, so he set up a tee time for 8:00 AM. The day before had been warm and beautiful. That day the temp was hovering around the freezing mark with a strong wind (look at the flag). I got some good shots, but I think we were the only nuts out there.
TWU Portraits
One of my favorite places to take photos is TWU. Their gardens are beautiful and there are many niches for a variety of styles. This is my daughter Allison. I took it as one of her senior portraits. The photo above is one I took of the Ryan High School Varsity Softball Team. I also took Spencer's Senior Portraits at TWU.
